Question About Skipping AO3-Performed Matching

Does anyone know if there's any way to skip the AO3-generated matching process? I'm running a very small exchange, and I've actually manually matched my participants (via printing out/cutting paper).

I had wanted to send out the matches today, but AO3 seems to be forcing me to wait for the archive-generated matches before I can manually match.


Is there any way to skip the archive-generated matching step, and cut straight to manually matching my participants?

Oops! I should have been clearer. I want to skip the auto-match for time purposes.

My 'tell everyone their match' deadline was today. I hit the auto-match button and it gave me a cheery message about it taking A Very Long Time, So Please Wait For An Email. D:

Is there any way to completely skip the automatch process, to your knowledge, or will I simply have to be patient? :)

Unfortunately, there's no way to skip the matching process, but the message does tend to be alarmist when it comes to small exchanges -- it should be closer to a couple of hours than days, in my experience.

Looks like it did end up being a few hours! I got my manual match edits in, and assignments were sent! :D
