I've been using ifttt to capture links from my favorites on Twitter (which is nice when I'm reading my friends' fic recs from my phone) and send them to the former Read It Later List (now http://getpocket.com). Then I both have Calibre pointed at my unread pocket feed (which gets first chapters of works without adult content warnings) and I filter my pocket feed to archiveofourown links, open a bunch in tabs, and download the epubs to stuff into my reader.

I'm still figuring out my workflow. I know it could be a lot better. I bet I could pinboard-stalk people with really good fic tastes too, via ifttt.
